The season opens 11th January and closes on 5th October.
Two rods fish on each stretch moving downstream by two beats each
day allowing both upper and lower water to be fished in one week.
Fishing is by fair fly only and fishing with bait, prawn, worm,
spiiner or any other lure is expressly forbidden. Fishing is from
both banks and breast waders are not necessary.
Fish caught can be kept by the angler but Thurso Fisheries reserve
the right to take a cast of any fish weighing 35lbs. or over and
to take scales from any fish for scientific or record purposes.
Anglers are reminded that under the Salmon Conservation (Scotland)
Act 2001 it is illegal to sell salmon and sea trout caught by
rod and line.
Complimentary trout fishing is availble to Salmon Anglers subject
to availability, and upon payment of a fee for the use of a boat.

Fishing Package
A deposit of 25% of the package price is payable to the Hotel
on confirmation of the booking with the balance due for payment
before departure.
Fishing Only
Accounts for angling charges will be rendered two months prior
to the commencement of fishing for settlement by return.
Guests are respectfully reminded that a reservation constitutes
a contract between the Company and the guest. In the event of
a cancellation, guests are liable for the full value of the contract
and therefore no rebates can be given if a full package is not
taken up or is cancelled.
Guests are stringly advised to take out a holiday insurance cover
to safeguard against having to cancel a confirmed booking at short
notice because of illness or other reasons.
